There is a force out there, not necessarily god, but something which is playing us like a marionette determining what we do to an extent. This "being" is much like us, in that they too went through stages. Humanity for me is divided into categories, the larvae, pupae, maturing stage, and the teaching or mentor stage. In the Larvae stage, humans are being developed, it is the early periods of humanity (stone age) till some period around the mid 1900's AD when computers came into existence. We are currently in the pupae stage, learning more about ourselves, surroundings, technology and developing that technology at an exponential rate.
This "Being" that is wathcing over us and is a silent force in directing us as humans and as a civilization. His civilization has gone through the stages and is at the mentor stage. In this stage, the beings of the society have a responsibility to go on and develop, create, and maintain another civilizations in the eyes of what they believe to be "the good". It is an INDIVIDUAL activity, not including any other influence outside of his own ideas, thoughts, and controls.
This "Being" has total control over the technology that is developed, the arts, music, and literature. Once our civilization is developed to the mentor stage, then we too will have the technology to go on and develope other planets.
There are other civilizations out there like ours, and the "Beings", that are developing alongside us, or have been in developement for longer than we have thus creating a more technologically advanced race than us, or we might be more advanced than them.
These beings are in truth, the ultimate "good" and the ideal form. However, we can not see them, communicate witht them, nor be in direct influence. They influence us through indirect means so not to have to big of an impact, thus breaking the urge to influence us through art, literature, music, etc. but still have a strong hold of what is, and what will be.
Life, therefore, is something that is created not by us exactly, but by these "Beings" who hold not only the genetic makeup, but can mix the good with the bad with KNOWN results. If human scientists mix, the outcome is rarely known and has the potential to be negative. Negativity and so called bad qualities, are not known to the superior "Beings" because they do not perceive anything as bad or negative, only a learning experience.
The notion of art and literature being influenced by the "Beings" can be seen in various forms such as the great mysteries of the world; Stongehenge, Easter Island, etc. These were created by humans, however, these humans would have been given blue-prints on how to not only create them, but what tools to use.
The revolutions in time were spurred on by nothing more but a human claiming that they have found a higher meaning. These revolutions and visions were in fact influenced by the "Beings" through indirect means such as a dream from a mystical figure, or a vision of a holy figure.
